RIP Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson
This is not on any of the news sites yet, but as it is being reported on the twitters of both Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti I doubt they are lying.

Peter "Uncle Sleazy" Christopherson was one of the founding members of Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV and Coil, and over the last couple of years has been touring his own project The Threshold HouseBoys Choir. He died in his sleep last night. I guess this means that there will never be a Throbbing Gristle re-union now. Very sad.

RIP Aaron Carl
Really bad news coming in from Detroit - producer Aaron Carl has passed away.

Aaron's a fucking legend, in the world of house, techno, booty and on the gay scene. I never met him but we corresponded by email a lot, and had plans to work on some music together. He was sweet, genuine, caring and very passionate. This is one of those proper "FUCK YOU, WORLD!!!" moments. It hasn't really sunk in yet. My thoughts go out to his family and particularly his kids, who need all the love they can get right now. Goodnight sweet prince xxxx.

Alexander McQueen R.I.P.
After posting about him only a few weeks ago, yesterday we learned the sad news that Alexander McQueen had died. By his own hand no less. What a huge loss to the world of fashion, and to the world of art. And for those who don't think fashion could possibly be art, have a look at these shows below and then reconsider your definitions. A huge gaping hole is going to be left in the industry, and in popular culture in general. Mr McQueen, you will be greatly missed!
