20 Seconds That Is Better Than You

The Tron Legacy soundtrack has got more teasers than Mel B at her peak in the Peep Show days (seriously, Google that shiz if you don't believe me)

But a new ickle, tiny snippet has been released and it sounds like - as brooding/Lynchian as all the tracks have been up until now - Daft Punk haven't lost the banging at all. Check yr ears below

Daft Punk "Tron" soundtrack preview

If you want to hear a brief snippet of the Daft Punk score for the upcoming Tron: Legacy go to this site: http://www.tronsoundtrack.com

then, in the black background behind the main window click anywhere and type "derezzed". The audio will then start playing. Note - the DP music has an electro beat, it's not the Vangelis-ey synth music that plays when you open the page.

In other news, Daft Punk are back! And they are soon to be releasing the soundtrack to the new Tron film, which looks utterly fabtastico wonderousness. Fancy hearing what it'll sound like? Then check out 107.7 The End's website

If that doesn't tickle your fancy (which makes you very silly indeed) then hopefully the trailer will. Avast!

Out Of Date Before It Was Even Made

A couple of years old, this still pushes all my Tron buttons. It might look a lot like it was made for a low budget Australian kids TV show from the mid 90s, but even now the video somehow still manages to look like the future.

Maybe that says more about how my media-addled mind concieves of the future? Tron came out in 1982, after all...
