Aki Latvamäki is one Finland's most skillful electronic musicians. A multi-instrumentalist, he deftly manipulates his own samples to develop a unique, organic sound that conjoins Techno and Deep House.

He's made waves recently with his remix of Simon Hinter's Take Care, which you can listen to/buy along with his other major releases at Beatport.

He also has a rolling archive of unreleased tunes which he occasionally dusts off on his blog. The latest is a motorik beat ("I was banging the drums through a shure 58 onto a cassette deck and then brought back to sample") bursting through an intense, distorted soundscape. Download it here.
