King Tuts = Pay To Play

Proof if proof be need be. Sadly, now I think of it, we knew this a few years ago when one of Brad Manners' bands were booked to play. Doesn't make it right though. Thankfully Divorce are havin' none of it!

Miaoux Miaoux @ King Tuts *Cancelled*

Miaoux Miaoux makes gorgeous tunes; electropop / ambient with lush melodies and slick beats. Something akin to Ulrich Schauss, Rune Grammofon and Panda Bear colliding with a truckload of Codeine. It is so nice. He's playing King Tut's tonight in support of Unicorn Kid; a down-with-the-kids, Edinburghian producer who's got a heck of a following from big names like the NME etc etc. 7 Bucks entry, doors at 8. Be there early for Miaoux Miaoux. MM tunes due on Little Rock soon as well....

EDIT: Miaoux Miaoux has just informed us he's ill and will be pulling out of the gig. This saddens us, and we wish him speedy recovery. Catch him next month as well though, in the 13th Note, on the 16th of March.
