Alan Moore's Unearthing

You may heave read about this already, but Alan Moore has a spoken word/music project about to be released through Lex Records called "Unearthing". Featuring Mike Patton, Doseone, members of Mogwai, Steve Moore and more, it's going to come in a seriously deluxe boxed set. You can hear an excerpt from the project over at Pitchfork right now.

CD Revival

Here's an excellent article on Pitchfork imagining a CD revival happening in the year 2022:

"On March 5, 2021, a dozen or so British students held an afternoon party. They dressed up, they drank tea, they ate buttered scones with jam, and then they played some music. Nothing so unusual, but all the music was on CD, and the same CDs they played had just been used as dishes for the jam."
