Alva Noto / Byetone
Previews of the forthcoming Alva Noto / Byetone A/V collaboration named Diamond version. If it wasn't exciting enough to see more collaboration between Carsten Nicolai and Byetone, the previews tell me this is going to be something special...
"Diamond Version is a project born out of a live situation. We occasionally performed encores together after our solo sets. These spontaneous and improvised tracks always had a kind of "special energy" which we missed in our solo works.”
“Diamond Version tries to capture this energy and combines it with conceptual ideas: every day we are exposed to the Daily Short Message Information Culture (DSMC), the aesthetic of this information system became a strong topic and a Blueprint of the visual identity of the Diamond Version project.” explains Diamond Version.

New Radio - Presenting Bigfoot's Tea Party

Ahead of their St. Patrick's Sub Club meltdown with the vary talented Onur Ozer, Bigfoot’s Tea Party drop a cheeky wee mix for the Little Rock boys on RM.
Bigfoot’s Tea Party have been throwing parties in Glasgow for the past couple of years, bringing together the best in techno, house, minimal and pure jacking beats.
Made up of a rotating cast of members, including international DJs Simon Stokes and Hans Boufmyre (head of Sleaze Records), they’ve brought the likes of Edu Imbernon, Tim Xavier, Hermanez and Mr. Copy to venues across Glasgow; coupling every event with visual performances, they’ve built a reputation for unique live experiences.
Friday 18 March sees them hitting the big time with a shot at Glasgow’s most important venue, the Sub Club. Alongside the usual melange of visuals and beats, they’re bringing Onur Ozer to spin his unique blend take on minimal house. Should be awesome – check out his Watergate mix.
